Who handles your information

ZIP Moving is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. Privacy questions can be sent to zipmovingco@gmail.com.

What we collect

The estimate form may collect your name, phone, email, requested service, move date, move size, origin and destination information, and notes you choose to provide. Our server also keeps limited security records such as a one-way hash of the network address, request time, and form identifier to prevent abuse and duplicate submissions.

Why we use it

We use the information to respond to your request, review route and service availability, prepare or discuss an estimate, prevent spam, and maintain a record of the inquiry. We do not sell form submissions or use them to build advertising audiences.

Service providers

The website is hosted on infrastructure managed for ZIP Moving. Submitted leads are stored on that server and may be delivered by email infrastructure to the ZIP Moving contact address. Providers process information only to operate these services.

Retention and security

Lead records are retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for an active customer relationship, dispute, or legal obligation. Access is limited to people who need it to respond or operate the service. No online service can promise absolute security, but the site uses validation, rate limits, duplicate protection, and restricted server storage.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted by emailing zipmovingco@gmail.com. We may need to retain limited records where required for security or legal reasons.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party analytics service receives your data. Essential browser and network functions may still transmit standard request data needed to deliver the page securely.

The interactive moving checklist can save only its checkbox identifiers in your browser’s local storage so your progress remains on that device. Those identifiers contain no contact or move details, are not sent with analytics events, and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data.

We do keep a small first-party count of interface events — for example that a phone number was tapped or that an estimate form was opened, submitted, or failed. Each record holds only the event name, the page path, and the time. It never contains your name, phone, email, addresses, or anything you typed into a form, and it is not linked to you. These counts are deleted after 90 days.

Updates

We may update this policy when the website or its processors change. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
